First PSNY has been PERMANETLY removed from further BRAC debates! YEA!!!!!!!! Great news for both the fleet and my community. The reason....TA DA!!!! PSNY is THE refit and modification shipyard for the Virgina class boats!

Third as you may or may not know the Rickover SSN 709 is being decommissoned here.
The Department chiefs held a charity car wash on Sat. here at Advance auto. Denise snpped a feew shots of the display 688 modle of the Rickover as they washed our truck. Great bunch of guys!
Note the inaccurate screw and omisson of a few other details on the model! the paint scheme is correct for early 688's I asked and this model was painted with actual paints used on 688's albiet thinned down.
