It is a minisub for special operations. Someday, the US Navy who first tested the X-stern will be the only subforce in the world that does not use an X-stern! Looks Yugoslavian.

The flag and the mountain background made me think it was possibly Croatian. Nice looking boat. Would make a nice model too.

Getting a Guppy stepped sail the hard way. Here is another sub quiz image for you to guess at. No, it is not a bo bo from a model sub regatta (hay, thats an idea, build a model with two sails, one pristene, the other like this one sailing around the regatta. Would turn some heads!). I painted out the sail number as it would be a dead give away. The silhouette has been altered slightly making ID perhaps difficult? (No, I just painted out the number only). Note the over spray of the deck paint lapping up the base of the sail's lighter color. Neet detail. BooBoo sail = bye bye career!
