Chart Tape

Guys,

I have been admiring the use of the chart tape you have been using to apply weld lines to your hulls. I am getting ready to pull a mold off of my WWII 1/48th scale Russian Shch Series X fleetboat intermediate. I have scribed the pattern all up, but it would really look exceptional with the plating weld lines on it. How narrow can you buy this stuff, and is there anyplace on the internet to order it?

Their you go Matt. It's down to a hair thickness. Sticks well but if you need to move it again it comes up easy and still sticks well. I was very pleased with it and these guys had great service. I just phoned my order in.

Unless I missed something, the link Steve posted does not actually show the smallest size available- 1/64". FWIW, this is largely what I've used on my OSCAR.

any local Graphic Arts supply company will carry the ChartPak Tape. I found it at a number of local stores near me....
