Problem with "Read This First" Sticky.

When you clik on the link, you get..

Not Found
The requested URL /viewtopic.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

U96 and everyone else........ U96 has reported a dead link in a Sticky.

If you find a Sticky that has a dead link please let me, Shadowpeo or Thor know exactly where it is. What forum and what topic. We should be able to remove some of these posts without taking away from the forum

Some of these Stickys are left over from the original Sub Pirates Forum. The one U96 may be referring to was posted 3 years ago on the original forum. The linked pages are long gone.

We really should do a forum by forum, topic by topic house cleaning. Remove all dead link posts and topics that are about the move to the new Sub Pirates Forum.

Just need to be careful not to remove any good usable and even some not so good usable information. Just the dead wood needs to be removed.

It hasn't been done because it will be very time consuming. Every forum, every topic and every post has to be opened and read. We even have dedicated forums that have nothing but Sticky posts. This serves no purpose. All topics would be in the same order if they were not Stickys.

I see a project to take on, on those nights I can't sleep.
I think I'm getting sleepy!
