sending PM messages

Sirs,

I need your help - maybe. Here's what I'm doing or trying to do.

1) Compose a PM to a valid member
2) Click on the "submit message" button
3) All appears to be OK
4) However, when I go the "sent messages" folder I see nothing - no messages.

Question - has my message actually been sent? How do I verify this?

Go to your PM message screen.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Is "Save Sent Message checked?

If not, it does not save your sent messages.

I'm sorry but I just can't find that option. Where exactly is it?

Never mind, I found it. Is there any way to make that my default choice or do I have to choose it every time?

Yes, go into your user control panel and set that as a default. If you can't get that to work for you, I am sure I can make it go for you...
