    Default Scale Converter Tool

Input your numbers and get several different scale conversions.

I put it on my George Washington page at the top.

The Scale converter will also give you scale frame spacing and frame width and depth.

A while back you posted a spreadsheet with the dimensions for models, converting real time to model sizes like 1:72 and 1:96. You called it Scale Converter, in a post 1/32nd Scale Type XXI, 06-21-2009 05:41 PM #25. I also checked the “how to” section where you re-posted it as Model Scale Conversions. Both location were not found when I clicked on them. I had copied it at one time but changed computers and have lost it. Could you re-post it?

    Thanks

    Ernie,
I check the How to and see that the link is to a page on a server I no longer use.
About 4 years ago, I changed hosts.

I did go in to the post and edited the link to go to the current page.
Thanks for pointing out and I am happy to update links once I know where there are to look.

I have several versions of the converter.
The link will bring up and excel file and it will be on the speed converter file.
Just tab to feet or millimeters.

    Note:
I also have a file to help manage a check book.
I give it to young people who seem to not know how to manage money.
A problem came up that these young people do not or can not afford MicroSoft Excel.
    Can't blame them for that.
This made it impossible for them to open the checkbook file.
After a little looking, I found a FREE Office suit that is reported to be the best of the free.
Actually it is not free if you download the current version but I found that the 2013 version is now free to download.
I had to make some changes to the Excel file because certain items where not recognized.
In my Excel file I use dep as a condition in a formula and this free program does not know what to do with it.
The fix was to change dep = 0 (zero) and all works as it should.

    It can be found here.

    Note to all:
Over the years, I have [posted a lot of links to pages, photos and others stuff.
If you find a link that does not go where it should, Please tell me about it and what it is.
I moved all my stuff to another server and I can find the new link and post it.
